I hear you and I'm with you. This winter has been ... just ugh. I've never really struggled with winter before either, but this one really did me in. I finally just sort-of shut down and didn't deal with anything. Now that spring is on its way in, I think I can start to get back to being myself and get out of this horrible funk. I'm so sorry about your Grandma. I loved what you wrote: "I miss her every day, and always will, but I take comfort in knowing that I am a much better woman because of the pieces of her that are alive and well within me." Beautiful.
